Rinsaku Akamatsu
Maestro de grabados de Osaka
Akamatsu Rinsaku fue un pintor, ilustrador, caricaturista y grabador en Osaka. Nació en 1878 en la ciudad de Tsuyama, en la prefectura de Okayama, Japón. Estudió pintura de estilo occidental en la renombrada Tokyo School of Fine Arts, siendo uno de sus profesores Yamauchi Gusen. El primer empleo de Akamatsu Rinsaku fue como ilustrador para el periódico Osaka Asahi Shimbun. Su obra principal es la serie "Treinta y seis vistas de Osaka", completada y publicada en 1947. Rinsaku Akamatsu también contribuyó a la serie "Imágenes de lugares famosos de Osaka y Kobe".
