Rinsaku Akamatsu
Maestro delle stampe di Osaka
Akamatsu Rinsaku era un pittore, illustratore, fumettista e incisore a Osaka. Nacque nel 1878 a Tsuyama City nella prefettura di Okayama, in Giappone. Studiò pittura in stile occidentale alla rinomata Tokyo School of Fine Arts, e uno dei suoi insegnanti fu Yamauchi Gusen. Il primo impiego di Akamatsu Rinsaku fu come illustratore per il giornale Osaka Asahi Shimbun. La sua opera principale è la serie "Trentasei vedute di Osaka", completata e pubblicata nel 1947. Rinsaku Akamatsu contribuì anche alla serie "Immagini di luoghi famosi di Osaka e Kobe".
