赤松麟作
大阪風景版画の巨匠
赤松麟作は、大阪で活動した画家、イラストレーター、漫画家、版画家である。1878年に日本岡山県津山市で生まれた。著名な東京美術学校で西洋画を学び、その教師の一人は山内愚仙であった。赤松麟作の最初の職は、新聞『大阪朝日新聞』のイラストレーターであった。彼の主要な作品は、1947年に完成・出版されたシリーズ「大阪三十六景」である。赤松麟作はまた、「大阪神戸名所図絵」シリーズにも貢献した。
