Rinsaku Akamatsu
Mestre das gravuras de Osaka
Akamatsu Rinsaku foi um pintor, ilustrador, cartunista e gravador em Osaka. Ele nasceu em 1878 na cidade de Tsuyama, na província de Okayama, Japão. Estudou pintura de estilo ocidental na renomada Tokyo School of Fine Arts, sendo um de seus professores Yamauchi Gusen. O primeiro emprego de Akamatsu Rinsaku foi como ilustrador para o jornal Osaka Asahi Shimbun. Sua obra principal é a série "Trinta e Seis Vistas de Osaka", concluída e publicada em 1947. Rinsaku Akamatsu também contribuiu para a série "Imagens de Lugares Famosos de Osaka e Kobe".
