Alexander Francis Lydon
Acuarelista y grabador de historia natural
Alexander Francis Lydon fue un artista acuarelista, ilustrador y grabador británico de origen irlandés, especializado en historia natural y paisajes. Trabajó para el impresor Benjamin Fawcett, con quien se había apprentizado desde una edad temprana. Colaboró en una gran cantidad de obras con el Reverendo Francis Orpen Morris, quien escribió el texto. El nieto de Alexander, Gerald Kenneth Lydon (1902–1988), conocido profesionalmente como GK Lydon, también fue un artista exitoso especializado en acuarelas. Fue elegido Miembro de la Royal Society of Arts en 1953.
