艾倫·塔克
美國現代主義風景畫家
艾倫·塔克是一位美國藝術家。他於1866年出生於紐約布魯克林，1887年畢業於哥倫比亞大學礦業學院，獲得建築學學位，並在McIlvaine and Tucker公司擔任繪圖員。 1908年，他與羅伯特·亨利、喬治·盧克斯、喬治·貝洛斯等人一同參展，與「八人畫派」同時代。塔克積極參與組織1910年獨立藝術家協會的首次展覽，並負責1913年軍械庫展覽的目錄編製。他的一幅風景畫出現在明信片公告上。 在第一次世界大戰期間，塔克在法國的美國救護車服務隊服役。從1921年到1926年，他在紐約藝術學生聯盟擔任講師，並與威廉敏娜·韋伯·弗隆及其丈夫托馬斯·弗隆成為密友；在他擔任講師期間，這對夫婦在聯盟中擔任行政和管理職務。他的作品出現在許多主要的美國博物館和收藏中。
