Alois Lunzer
Spezialist für botanische Aquarelle
Alois Lunzer war ein in Österreich geborener Aquarellmaler, der nach Philadelphia auswanderte und sich auf botanische Illustrationen spezialisierte. Lunzer arbeitete mit Thomas Meehan, Botaniker und Autor, und Louis Prang, Verleger, zusammen, um „The Native Flowers and Ferns of the United States“ (1879) zu produzieren.
