Antonio del Castillo y Saavedra war ein spanischer Maler, Bildhauer und Dichter des Barock. Antonio del Castillo y Saavedra wurde in Córdoba, Spanien, geboren. Er erhielt seine Malerausbildung bei seinem Vater Agustín del Castillo und nach dessen Tod von 1631 bis 1634 bei einem wenig bekannten religiösen Maler namens Ignacio Aedo Calderón. Später wurde er in Sevilla von Francisco de Zurbarán und von seinem Onkel Juan del Castillo unterrichtet, der auch Lehrer von Cano, Murillo und De Moya war. 1635 kehrte er nach Córdoba zurück, wo er Fresken und Ölgemälde schuf (wie diejenigen in der Kirche Santa Marina). Er starb 1668 in Córdoba.
