學院派理想化鄉村場景
卡米耶·費利克斯·貝朗熱是亞歷山大·卡巴內爾和威廉·布格羅在巴黎美術學院（Ecole des Beaux-Arts）的傑出學生。 在聖西爾軍事學院擔任繪畫教師期間，他在畫作中描繪了布列塔尼的鄉村及其居民，並創作了以學院派風格理想化鄉村生活現實的大型油畫。
