Carl Hassmann
Historisch schilder en cartoonist
Als schilder en illustrator van historische onderwerpen was Hassmann begin 20e eeuw ook cartoonist voor het tijdschrift Puck. Hij ontwierp vele kleurenomslagen. Net als Pucks oprichter Keppler kwam hij uit Wenen, Oostenrijk. Hassmann woonde van 1904 tot 1911 in de Verenigde Staten en werkte voor Puck.
