Charles-François Grenier de Lacroix

Charles Francois Grenier de Lacroix, ook bekend als Charles Francois Lacroix de Marseille, was een Franse schilder. Charles François Lacroix uit Marseille was een landschaps- en marineschilder, in de stijl van Claude Joseph Vernet, Jean-Joseph Kapeller (1702-1790) en Henry van Arles. Hij was leerling en navolger van Joseph Vernet en verbleef in 1754 in Rome. Vanaf 1776 exposeerde hij met groot succes en bracht een groot deel van zijn leven door tussen Italië en de Provence. In 1780 publiceerde hij een advertentie om leerlingen te ontvangen in zijn atelier in Parijs. Jean-Jacques Le Veau en Noël Le Mire graveerden enkele van zijn schilderijen.
