Charles Frederick William Mielatz
Grabador de arquitectura urbana
Charles Mielatz alcanzó fama como grabador de temas arquitectónicos. Su interés por el patrón y la estructura de los edificios urbanos es evidente en el puente metálico de Cherry Street, realizado en 1904. Siete años después, cuando Mielatz retrató a un vendedor de helados de principios del siglo XX en Bowling Green, prestó igual atención a la fila de edificios en la distancia. Mielatz nació en Alemania, pero pasó la mayor parte de su carrera en los Estados Unidos. Durante la década de 1880, estuvo activo en Newport, Rhode Island. Su obra se encuentra en las colecciones de la Biblioteca Pública de Nueva York y del Museo de Arte Parrish.
