克洛德·吉洛
开创田园雅集装饰风格
克劳德·吉洛是法国画家、版画家和插画家，最为人所知的是作为华托和兰克雷的老师。 吉洛出生于朗格勒。他是一位画家、版画家、书籍插图师、金属工匠和剧院设计师。1703年至1708年间，华托曾是他的学徒。 吉洛特以《潘神的盛宴》和《巴克斯的盛宴》等标题命名的活泼神话风景画，于1715年为他打开了巴黎绘画学院的大门；随后他调整自己的艺术风格以迎合当时的时尚品味，并引入了装饰性的田园宴会题材，后来他的学生在这方面超越了他。他还作为布景和服装设计师，与歌剧和剧院有着密切的联系。他在巴黎去世，享年49岁。
