荣松斋长喜

英祥斋长喜,又称百川长喜,是一位浮世绘风格的日本木版画设计师,活跃于约1786年至1808年。他与歌麿同为鸟山石燕(1712–1788)的弟子。长喜以其描绘的苗条美女而闻名,常配以富有氛围的背景。 这位艺术家的大多数作品署名为长喜(Chōki),他也曾用荣松斋(Eishōsai)或子兴(Shikō)署名一些作品。 长喜的生平细节模糊不清。他可能是鸟山石燕的学生,甚至可能是其养子。长喜擅长描绘美女,拥有多个画名:署名长喜的作品风格与清长相似,而署名四湖的作品则与歌麿相似。 Chōki居住在出版商Tsutaya Jūzaburō的家中,后者出版了他的多套版画系列。Chōki较受欢迎的系列包括《近江八景》(Ōmi hakkei)和《忠臣藏八景》(Chūshingura hakkei)。他还创作了柱绘(hashira-e)、花鸟画(kachō-e)以及书籍插图。他已知的最后一件作品是1809年为Kanwatei Onitake的《勿来关》(Nakoso no seki)一书绘制的插图。
