Filippo Tommaso Marinetti
Richtte futurisme op, prees de snelheid
Filippo Tommaso Emilio Marinetti was een Italiaanse dichter, redacteur, kunsttheoreticus en oprichter van de futuristische beweging. Hij was tussen 1907 en 1908 verbonden met de utopische en symbolistische artistieke en literaire gemeenschap Abbaye de Créteil. Marinetti is vooral bekend als de auteur van het eerste Futuristisch Manifest, dat in 1909 werd geschreven en gepubliceerd, en als medeauteur van het Fascistisch Manifest uit 1919.
