Francesco Fontebasso
Pintor rococó veneciano influido por Tiepolo
Francesco Fontebasso fue un pintor italiano del periodo barroco tardío o rococó de Venecia. Se apprentizó primero con Sebastiano Ricci, pero fue fuertemente influenciado por su contemporáneo, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo. En 1761, Fontebasso visitó San Petersburgo y produjo pinturas de techo y decoraciones para el Palacio de Invierno. Fontebasso regresó a Venecia en 1768. Ayudó a decorar una capilla en San Francesco della Vigna. Murió en Venecia en 1769. Está representado en colecciones, por ejemplo en el Palacio de Kadriorg (parte del Museo de Arte de Estonia) en Tallin, Estonia.
