Francisco de Zurbarán

Francisco de Zurbarán était un peintre espagnol. Il est principalement connu pour ses peintures religieuses représentant des moines, des nonnes et des martyrs, ainsi que pour ses natures mortes. Zurbarán a obtenu le surnom de « Caravage espagnol » en raison de l’utilisation puissante et réaliste du clair-obscur dans laquelle il excellait.
