弗朗茨·科贝尔
多产的德国风景素描家
弗朗茨·科贝尔是一位德国画家、蚀刻版画家和素描家。巴伐利亚选帝侯卡尔·特奥多尔于1776年派他前往意大利学习艺术，他一直待到1785年，主要在罗马以自然和纪念性建筑为题材进行创作。随后他居住在慕尼黑，并成为宫廷画家。 他仅创作了少量油画，却深受歌德的高度赞誉，其中著名的例子是《有瀑布的岩石风景》，曾藏于班贝格画廊。尽管他拥有奔放的想象力和非凡的创作天赋，但绘画过程过于缓慢，难以跟上他的思路，因此他主要局限于使用钢笔和铅笔，留下了两万幅风景与建筑的钢笔画及蚀刻画。 他是费迪南德·科贝尔的兄弟。
