가브리엘 드 생토뱅

가브리엘 드 생오픈(Gabriel de Saint-Aubin)은 프랑스의 도면작업자, 조각가, 은사작가, 화가였다. 그의 형제인 샤를 제르망 드 생 오빈과 아우구스틴 드 생 오빈도 예술가였고, 샤를의 딸 마리 프랑수아즈 역시 예술가였다. 그는 에티엔 줄라와 하키른트 콜린 드 베르몬테의 학생이었다. 1752년부터 1754년까지 로마상 수상에 3번 실패한 후, 그는 아카데미 데 부아르트를 떠나 성 루카 협회에 가입했다. 생오피안의 예술에서 독특한 점은 수도권 거리 사회를 관찰하는 데 대한 과도한 관심으로, 그는 여행 중에 이러한 풍경이나 오락을 스케치했다는 것이다. 따라서 그의 조각화, 음각화 및 대형 수채화는 18세기 파리 예술 생활에 대한 귀중한 기록이다.
