乔治·阿什当·奥德斯利
折衷建筑师与管风琴设计师
乔治·阿什当·奥兹利是一位杰出的建筑师、艺术家、插画家、作家、装饰家和管风琴设计师,他在许多艺术领域都表现出色,但如今最为人熟知的或许是设计了费城的沃纳梅克管风琴。 奥兹利于1838年9月6日出生在苏格兰埃尔金,曾在当地的A. & W. Reid建筑师事务所学徒。1856年,他追随兄长威廉·詹姆斯·奥兹利前往英国利物浦,受雇于建筑师约翰·韦特曼。到1860年,奥兹利公司(Audsley & Co.)成立,这是一家建筑师及画框与装饰卡纸制作商。该公司最终更名为W. & G.
