喬治·科克倫·蘭布丁

George Cochran Lambdin 是一位美國維多利亞時代藝術家，以其花卉畫作而聞名。 他是肖像畫家詹姆斯·里德·蘭姆丁的兒子，1830年1月6日出生於賓夕法尼亞州匹茲堡。他在費城的賓夕法尼亞美術學院學習，並於1848年開始在那裡展出作品。美國內戰期間，他在美國衛生委員會工作，向前線部隊分發藥品和繃帶。他描繪軍營生活的風俗畫，以及經常包含士兵的居家場景。 從中年起他身體欠佳，遂定居於費城日耳曼敦區。在那裡，他專注於花卉繪畫，尤以玫瑰為主，度過了生命的最後25年。這些畫作中有許多被製成了彩色平版畫並進行量產。 他於1868年當選為國家設計學院院士，並是賓夕法尼亞美術學院院士。他於1896年1月28日在日耳曼敦去世。
