十九世纪荷兰花卉画家
Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os 是一位来自荷兰北部的19世纪画家。他是画家 Jan van Os 和 Susanna de la Croix 的儿子和学生，也是画家 Pieter van Os 和 Maria Margaretha van Os 的兄弟。1809年，他凭借一幅静物画赢得了阿姆斯特丹 Felix Meritis 协会的一等奖，他后来专门从事这一体裁的创作。Van Os 于1812年成为荷兰狮子勋章的骑士。 从1816年到1820年，他在阿姆斯特丹工作。1822年他搬到了巴黎，在那里他为塞夫尔瓷器厂工作。他画风景画，但像他父亲一样，最著名的是作为花卉画家。从1830年代开始，他在哈勒姆度过夏天，在那里他继续为Jan Kops编辑的《Flora Batava》创作花卉插图。
