十九世紀荷蘭花卉畫家
Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os 是一位來自荷蘭北部的19世紀畫家。他是畫家 Jan van Os 和 Susanna de la Croix 的兒子和學生，也是畫家 Pieter van Os 和 Maria Margaretha van Os 的兄弟。1809年，他憑藉一幅靜物畫贏得了阿姆斯特丹 Felix Meritis 協會的一等獎，他後來專門從事這一體裁的創作。Van Os 於1812年成為荷蘭狮子勳章的騎士。 從1816年到1820年，他在阿姆斯特丹工作。1822年他搬到了巴黎，在那裡他為塞夫爾瓷器廠工作。他畫風景畫，但像他父親一樣，最著名的是作為花卉畫家。從1830年代開始，他在哈勒姆度過夏天，在那裡他繼續為Jan Kops編輯的《Flora Batava》創作花卉插圖。
