赫里特·阿德里安斯·贝赫克海德
荷兰黄金时代城市景观大师
赫里特·阿德里安松·贝尔克海德是荷兰黄金时代的画家，活跃于哈勒姆、阿姆斯特丹和海牙，如今以其城市风景画而闻名。 贝尔克海德生于哈勒姆，亦卒于此地。他于1638年6月6日受洗为婴儿，是画家约布·阿德里安松·贝尔克海德的弟弟（小十一岁）兼学生。黄金时代历史学家阿诺德·豪布拉肯声称，约布曾由其父培养为书籍装订工，却无法查明究竟是谁教会了他绘画。而赫里特则师从其兄长。约布的老师必定是一位哈勒姆的大师，有人认为是弗兰斯·哈尔斯，但豪布拉肯却称，他曾以熟练工匠的身份在莱顿与乌得勒支之间游历，以肖像画家的身份提供服务，并在实践中习得技艺。 17世纪50年代，两兄弟沿莱茵河前往德国进行了一次长途旅行，途经科隆、波恩、曼海姆，最终抵达海德堡。兄弟二人在海德堡为普法尔茨选帝侯卡尔一世·路德维希工作，并因辛勤付出而双双获颁金质奖章，但他们终究无法适应宫廷生活，于是返回哈勒姆，共同拥有一所住宅和一间画室。1660年7月27日，赫里特成为哈勒姆圣路加公会的成员。随后，画家阿德里安·奥登代克也加入了该公会。
