Giacomo Guardi war ein italienischer Maler aus Venice. Als Sohn des berühmten Veduten-Malers Francesco Guardi führte er die Arbeit seines Vaters weiter, albeit ohne das gleiche Maß an Bekanntheit. Die Mehrheit seiner Werke sind recht kleine Ansichten von nur geringem künstlerischen Interesse, eher Postkarten als die großartigen Szenen seines Vaters ähnlich, aber er produzierte auch mehrere Gemälde, die ein bemerkenswertes Maß an künstlerischem Können zeigen.
