Giacomo Zoboli
Retablos y retratos barrocos tardíos
Jacopo Zoboli fue un pintor italiano del período del Barroco tardío. Nació en Módena alrededor del año 1700. Su primer mecenas, el marqués Taddeo Rangone, lo envió a estudiar primero bajo Francesco Stringa, luego a Bolonia. Fue a Roma, donde murió alrededor de 1765. Pintó un retablo para la iglesia de Sant'Eustachio en Roma. Pintó retablos y retratos, y se dice que realizó quince placas de grabado que tratan sobre la vida de Aloysius Gonzaga y Stanislaus Kostka. También hizo grabados en color de Bracciano, Tívoli, Visa y Brescia. Se dice que murió pobre en Roma.
