Giacomo Zoboli
Retábulos e retratos barrocos tardios
Jacopo Zoboli foi um pintor italiano do período do Barroco tardio. Ele nasceu em Modena por volta do ano 1700. Seu primeiro patrono, o Marquês Taddeo Rangone, enviou-o para estudar primeiro com Francesco Stringa, e depois para Bolonha. Ele foi para Roma, onde morreu por volta de 1765. Ele pintou um retábulo para a igreja de Sant'Eustachio em Roma. Ele pintou retábulos e retratos, e disse-se que gravou quinze placas tratando da vida de Aloysius Gonzaga e Stanislaus Kostka. Ele também fez gravuras coloridas de Bracciano, Tivoli, Visa e Brescia. Diz-se que ele morreu pobre em Roma.
