Genannt il Fiammenghino. Geboren um 1561 in Mailand. Gestorben dort nach 1627. Maler von Fresken in den Kirchen im Umkreis von Mailand. Arbeitete mit seinem Bruder Giovanni Mauro della Rovere (ca. 1575–1640), ebenfalls il Fiammenghino genannt. Ihr Vater Giovanni, geboren um 1533 in Antwerpen, ließ sich schon in jungen Jahren in Mailand nieder.
