Hamilton King

Hamilton King nació en Lewiston, Maine, el 21 de diciembre de 1871. Estudió en París en la Académie Julian. Conocido principalmente por sus representaciones icónicas de mujeres hermosas, a menudo denominadas «Hamilton King Girls», contribuyó a Woman's Home Companion, Theatre Magazine, The Daily Picayune y The Popular Magazine. Hamilton también creó imágenes para publicitar productos como Coca-Cola y tarjetas de cigarrillos para Turkish Trophies. Fue miembro de la American Federation of Arts, y la Society of Illustrators otorga cada año el «Hamilton King Award» a los ilustradores en su honor.
