Hans Multscher
Deutscher Bildhauer mit nordischem Stil
Hans Multscher war ein deutscher Bildhauer und Maler. Multscher wurde in Reichenhofen (heute Leutkirch im Allgäu) geboren. Er machte sich mit den neuen Kunststilen aus Nordfrankreich und den Niederlanden vertraut und wurde 1427 Freier Bürger der Stadt Ulm. Dort heiratete er im selben Jahr Adelheid Kitzin. Gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder Heinrich Multscher führte er seine eigene Werkstatt als Maler und Bildhauer. Multscher starb in Ulm.
