汉斯·桑德罗伊特
瑞士象征主义画家
汉斯·桑德鲁特是一位瑞士艺术家和设计师，以象征主义风格绘画。 完成中学教育后，他开始担任石版印刷工的学徒。随后他在纽伦堡短暂工作，之后前往维罗纳跟随阿基勒·卡里洛继续深造；于1872年返回巴塞尔。次年，他前往慕尼黑，在一所私立艺术学校结识了阿诺德·伯克林。通过他在威廉·冯·考尔巴赫面前的斡旋，桑德雷特得以进入美术学院参加裸体素描课程。 1874年，他与伯克林前往佛罗伦萨，因病一直留在他身边直到1877年，随后前往巴黎。在那里待了两年后，他返回佛罗伦萨，又过了两年，在巴塞尔开设了一间工作室。他接到了许多公共建筑壁画的设计委托； notably Stein am Rhein的修道院。1896年，他被任命为联邦艺术委员会[de]的成员。次年，他短暂返回佛罗伦萨，在那里为巴塞尔艺术馆筹备伯克林展览。 1899年，他被诊断出患有糖尿病。两年后，他在家中去世。最初的死后批评毫不留情，许多人称他不过是伯克林的模仿者。
