亨利·诺埃尔·汉弗莱斯是一位英国插画家、博物学家、昆虫学家和钱币学家。 汉弗莱斯于1810年1月4日出生在伯明翰，是詹姆斯·汉弗莱斯的儿子，并在当地的国王爱德华学校接受教育。他年轻时在意大利研究中世纪手稿，成为众多学科中造诣深厚的学者。除了昆虫学著作外，汉弗莱斯还撰写了关于古希腊和罗马钱币、考古学以及书写与印刷艺术的著作。 他于1879年6月10日去世。
