亨利·諾埃爾·漢弗萊斯是一位英國插畫家、博物學家、昆蟲學家和錢幣學家。漢弗萊斯於1810年1月4日出生在伯明罕，是詹姆斯·漢弗萊斯的兒子，並在當地的國王愛德華學校接受教育。他年輕時在義大利研究中世紀手稿，成為眾多學科中造詣深厚的學者。除了昆蟲學著作外，漢弗萊斯還撰寫了關於古希臘和羅馬錢幣、考古學以及書寫與印刷藝術的著作。他於1879年6月10日去世。
