法国壁画与肖像画家
伊波利特-多米尼克·贝尔托是一位法国画家，专攻壁画和肖像画。 他在巴黎国立高等美术学院学习绘画，师从伊波利特·弗朗德兰、莱昂·科涅和保罗·博德里的工作室。1872年至1875年，他在伊斯坦布尔担任"苏丹画家"。 随后他移居南特，在那里创作肖像画、风俗画和风景画；当地的沙丘是他钟爱的题材。他还致力于装饰绘画。此类作品中最著名的是格拉斯兰剧院天花板上的壁画，以及美术博物馆和市政厅的楼梯装饰。后来，他为小卢森堡宫的一处天花板区域进行了装饰。 他在法国艺术家沙龙展出，并于1885年获得二等奖。此后，他以"非竞赛"身份参展。自1901年起，他将作品送至国家美术协会沙龙展出。 1891年，他被授予荣誉军团骑士勋章；1923年晋升为军官。 他安葬于蒙帕纳斯公墓。他的作品可在卡尔卡松美术馆、南特艺术博物馆、奥赛博物馆、坎佩尔美术馆和雷恩美术馆观赏。
