艾萨克·奥利弗

艾萨克·奥利弗（或奥利维耶）是一位英国肖像微型画家。 他出生于鲁昂，1568年与胡格诺派父母彼得和伊皮法尼·奥利弗一同移居伦敦，以躲避法国的宗教战争。随后，他在尼古拉斯·希利亚德门下学习微型画，并发展出一种自然主义风格，该风格深受意大利和佛兰德斯艺术的影响。他的第一任妻子伊丽莎白于1599年去世。他与伊丽莎白育有一子彼得·奥利弗，后者在微型画领域也享有盛誉。1602年，他娶了萨拉为妻，萨拉是著名肖像画家老马库斯·吉拉尔特（约1520–约1590）与其妻子苏珊娜·德·克里茨的女儿。苏珊娜是安特卫普金匠特罗伊卢斯·德·克里茨的女儿，也是女王御用画家约翰·德·克里茨的近亲。她还是玛格达琳·德·克里茨的长姐或堂/表姐，玛格达琳嫁给了小马库斯·吉拉尔特（1562–1635）。 伊丽莎白一世去世后，他成为詹姆斯一世宫廷的画家，绘制了丹麦王后安妮和威尔士亲王亨利·弗雷德里克的众多肖像。 他的一些作品收藏于温莎城堡。他的一些钢笔画藏于大英博物馆。
