雅各布·克里斯托夫·米維爾
廣闊自然的浪漫風景
雅各布·克里斯托夫·米維爾出生於巴塞爾，是一位遊歷廣泛的畫家和素描家。在羅馬的逗留以及對阿爾卑斯山的遊覽，塑造了他早期的英雄式風景畫風格。然而，直到他在俄羅斯停留期間（1809–1817年），他才發展出對自然的獨特感受：在克里米亞和高加索地區所見的廣闊天地與景色，促使他演變為一位浪漫主義風景畫家。他帶著大量的素描和研究作品回到家鄉，這些作品成為他此後在瑞士繼續創作繪畫的基礎。
