扬·范德海登
开创荷兰城市画与消防技术
扬·范德海登是荷兰巴洛克时期的画家、玻璃画家、制图师和版画家。范德海登是最早专攻城市景观的荷兰画家之一，并成为荷兰黄金时代领先的建筑画家之一。他在职业生涯的初期和末期创作了多幅静物画。 扬·范德海登也是一位工程师和发明家，为当时的消防技术做出了重大贡献。1672年，他与担任水力工程师的兄弟尼古拉斯共同发明了消防水带的改进版本。他改进了手动消防泵，重组了志愿消防队（1685年），并编写和绘制了第一本消防手册（《Brandspuiten-boek》）。由范德海登设计并实施的阿姆斯特丹综合街道照明方案从1669年一直运行到1840年，并被国内外许多其他城镇作为典范采用。
