讓-阿希爾·貝努維爾
法國義大利風景畫家
讓-阿希爾·貝努維爾是一位法國風景畫家，以其義大利風光畫作而聞名。 他出生於巴黎。他與弟弟弗朗索瓦-萊昂一起，先師從弗朗索瓦-愛德華·皮科，後又師從萊昂·科涅。他在巴黎、貢比涅和楓丹白露附近繪製了大量風景畫。 1834年，他在沙龍舉辦了首次展覽。三年後，他被巴黎國立高等美術學院錄取。1845年，他憑藉作品《尤利西斯與瑙西卡》獲得羅馬大獎歷史風景畫獎。因此，他得以三次前往義大利；其中一次是與讓-巴蒂斯特·卡米耶·柯羅同行，兩人在羅馬共用一間畫室。 在美第奇別墅居住三年後，他決定留在義大利，儘管他繼續在巴黎的展覽上展出自己的作品。他於1851年結婚，育有兩個兒子：皮埃爾·路易和萊昂，兩人都成為了建築師。1863年，他被授予榮譽軍團騎士勳章。 他在妻子去世後返回法國，並於1871年再婚。他頻繁前往義大利、庇里牛斯山脈和荷蘭旅行，直至1891年在巴黎去世。 莫泊桑將他的故事《我的叔叔于勒》（1883年）獻給了貝努維爾。
