Pittore francese, allievo di Jean-Victor Bertin e Jean-Baptiste Regnault. Jean-Charles-Joseph Rémond fu premiato con il prestigioso Grand Prix de Paysage Historique nel 1821. Il giovane artista trascorse i successivi cinque anni in Italia dipingendo schizzi all'aria aperta. Rémond cessò di esporre nel 1848.
