Johann Heinrich Sulzer era un medico ed entomologo svizzero. Studiò medicina all'Università di Tubinga e in seguito aprì uno studio medico a Winterthur. Come medico, si distinse nel suo lavoro sulle vaccinazioni contro il vaiolo. Nel campo dell'entomologia, fu autore di: I caratteri degli insetti, secondo le istruzioni del cavaliere svedese e medico personale del re Carl Linnaeus (...)
