Johann Ulrich Mayr

Johann Ulrich Mayr fu un pittore barocco tedesco. Secondo Joachim von Sandrart, era figlio della pittrice Susanna Mayr, il cui padre Johann Georg Fischer era anch'egli pittore. Secondo il RKD, fu allievo di Rembrandt ad Amsterdam e anche allievo di Jacob Jordaens ad Anversa. Viaggiò inoltre in Inghilterra e a Roma ed è noto per le sue incisioni all'acquaforte e opere di genere.
