朱尔-阿道夫·古皮尔
精准的风俗与历史画家
朱尔斯-阿道夫·古皮尔出生于巴黎，师从阿里·谢弗，并于1857年年仅18岁时开始在沙龙展出。他在1873年、1874年、1875年和1878年屡获奖章。他以绘制具有出色严谨性和精确性的风俗画和肖像画而闻名。在故乡巴黎开启沙龙职业生涯后不久，古皮尔便前往布鲁塞尔和慕尼黑参展。 他的作品逐渐融入了更多历史题材，并开始绘制法国大革命的场景，这为他赢得了更广泛的国际观众和赞誉。晚年，他被授予荣誉军团骑士勋章。
