卡尔·鲁斯是一位奥地利画家。 卡尔·鲁斯在维也纳美术学院学习，主要绘制神话、古代题材以及奥地利历史的场景。1806年，他在阿尔贝蒂娜博物馆内工作。 1810年，他担任让-巴蒂斯特·德·奥地利的宫廷画家，并陪同他在施蒂里亚漫步，以探索该地区并为他委托的画作寻找图案。他以一系列水彩画记录了当地平民身着施蒂里亚传统服饰的形象。这些画作构成了1810年至1820年间传统服饰的重要文献，内容涵盖从资产阶级女性的节日礼服到农家男孩的服装。 卡尔·鲁斯是画家莱安德·鲁斯的父亲。
