马泰斯·范登贝赫
鲁本斯门下的荷兰画家
马蒂亚斯·扬斯·范登贝格是荷兰黄金时代的画家。 根据 Houbraken 的说法，他的父亲 Jan van den Bergh 是一位来自 Alkmaar 的画家，曾在 Ypres 为 Rubens 服务，Matthias 便出生于此。Houbraken 声称，Jan van den Bergh 在移居 Brabant 并后来为 Rubens 工作之前，曾是 Hendrick Goltzius 的学生。年轻的 Matthias 从父亲那里学习绘画，并进入 Rubens 的工作室工作。 根据RKD的记录，他于1630年至1640年间在鲁本斯的工作室工作，1635年时要么是鲁本斯的学生，要么以其他身份受雇于其工作室。1646年，他成为阿尔克马尔圣路加公会的成员。1648年至1651年间，他居住在莱顿，此后回到阿尔克马尔，1656年的记录显示他住在伦巴第街（Lombardsteeg）。他绘制肖像、士兵题材和历史寓言画，不应与同时代的代尔夫特画家马特乌斯·吉利斯兹·范登贝尔赫（约1608-1687年）混淆。
