オラツィオ・ジェンティレスキ
カラヴァッジョ風自然主義装飾
オラツィオ・ロミ・ジェンティレスキはイタリアの画家である。トスカーナ生まれで、ローマでキャリアをスタートさせ、マニエリスム様式で制作し、その作品の多くは他の芸術家の装飾計画の中で人物を描くものであった。1600年以降、彼はカラヴァッジョのより自然主義的な様式の影響を受けた。ファブリアーノやジェノヴァで重要な注文を受け、その後パリに移り、マリー・ド・メディシスの宮廷に仕えた。彼の人生の最後はイングランド王チャールズ1世の宮廷で過ごした。彼は画家アルテミジア・ジェンティレスキの父である。
