佩尔·希莱斯特伦
描绘瑞典日常生活与工业
佩尔·希勒斯特伦是一位瑞典艺术家。他曾担任瑞典皇家艺术学院的教授和院长。 希勒斯特伦出生于瑞典罗斯拉根地区的韦德岛上，他的叔叔是那里的教区牧师。他是十二个孩子中的长子。他最初师从风景画家约翰·菲利普·科恩（1727–1796）。他在瑞典皇家艺术学院接受了艺术家纪尧姆·塔拉瓦尔（1701–1750）和建筑师让·埃里克·雷恩（1717–1793）的培训。 希勒斯特伦创作了大约三十幅肖像画。他还绘制了大量反映当时环境的画作。他创作了许多风俗画，描绘斯德哥尔摩上层和中产阶级家庭中人们从事各种日常任务的情景。画中的服装和家具都按照其真实样貌精确绘制，为了解当时的生活提供了宝贵的信息来源。此外，他还描绘了在磨坊和其他早期工业场所工作的工匠。晚年，他也开始创作历史画和宗教题材作品。
