佩爾·希萊斯特倫
描繪瑞典日常生活與工業
佩爾·希勒斯特倫是一位瑞典藝術家。他曾擔任瑞典皇家藝術學院的教授和院長。 希勒斯特倫出生於瑞典羅斯拉根地區的韋德島上，他的叔叔是那裡的教區牧師。他是十二個孩子中的長子。他最初師從風景畫家約翰·菲利普·科恩（1727–1796）。他在瑞典皇家藝術學院接受了藝術家紀堯姆·塔拉瓦爾（1701–1750）和建築師讓·埃里克·雷恩（1717–1793）的培訓。 希勒斯特倫創作了大約三十幅肖像畫。他還繪製了大量反映當時環境的畫作。他創作了許多風俗畫，描繪斯德哥爾摩上層和中產階級家庭中人們從事各種日常任務的情景。畫中的服裝和家具都按照其真實樣貌精確繪製，為了解當時的生活提供了寶貴的信息來源。此外，他還描繪了在磨坊和其他早期工業場所工作的工匠。晚年，他也開始創作歷史畫和宗教題材作品。
