皮耶爾·弗朗切斯科·莫拉
巴洛克風景畫家
皮埃爾·弗朗切斯科·莫拉，人稱「提契諾人」，是一位義大利高巴洛克時期畫家，主要在羅馬一帶活動。 莫拉出生於科爾德里奧（今屬瑞士提契諾州）。四歲時，他隨父親、畫家喬瓦尼·巴蒂斯塔·莫拉移居羅馬。除了1633–1640年居住在威尼斯和1641–1647年居住在博洛尼亞的時期外，他的餘生都在羅馬度過。 他早年的訓練師從已故的風格主義畫家卡瓦列爾·達皮諾，並在古典主義畫家弗朗切斯科·阿爾巴尼門下工作。 他作為濕壁畫畫家的傑作被廣泛認為是奎里納萊宮畫廊中亞歷山大七世畫廊的濕壁畫，題為《約瑟向兄弟們表明身份》（1657年）。然而，莫拉被認為更擅長繪製小型畫作，尤其是風景畫。他創作了六版《逃往埃及》，其中最早且最好的一版是第一版《逃往埃及途中的休息》。 他於1662年當選為羅馬藝術家專業協會聖盧卡學院（Accademia di San Luca）的院長，但他的晚年既無利可圖，也多產不足。他的學生包括讓-巴蒂斯特·福雷斯特、安東尼奧·蓋拉爾迪和朱塞佩·博納蒂。 莫拉以其更為鬆散的風格與手法、更自然的色調以及對探索風景元素的興趣，不同於以安德烈亞·薩基為代表的17世紀羅馬主流畫家所盛行的、高度理論化的古典主義。
