阮郜は、五代十国時代の南唐の画家である。生没年は不明だが、呉越地域で活動していたとみられる。宋代の記録によれば、彼はかつて太廟の斎郎を務めた。 Ruan Gao was skilled in painting, especially good at figure painting, often depicting Taoist themes, and he particularly excelled at painting women. One of his surviving works is the handscroll 'Immortal Women of Langyuan,' which is considered his only extant piece.
