Rudolf Kremlička était un peintre tchèque. Il a étudié à l'Académie des beaux-arts de Prague. Là-bas, il a été influencé par les œuvres des peintres Slavíček et Schwaiger. Il a visité Paris, où il a eu l'occasion de voir les œuvres d'importants impressionnistes (son modèle était Édouard Manet). Il a également été fortement influencé par Ingres. In 1924 he published Painting Confessions in which he explained his approach to modern art, nudes and landscape painting in the form of a diary. He died at the age of 45 and was buried in the Olšany cemeteries .
